Can You Survive...

This 2D Survival Game was made for the Brackeys Game Jam 2022!

In the top left is your score. 

In the top write is the time: be careful between 00:00 and 06:00!

The bottom left is your inventory, in the centre is you, and beneath you is your hotbar.

Click on the tools to switch between them (sword, pickaxe and axe).

The hammer in the top right opens and closes the crafting menu on the right.

There are three materials: wood, stone and silver. These can create the various walls in the crafting menu.

The bottom of the crafting menu has a sapling and a silver bar.

To craft things, click on the item you want to build and press 'P' afterwards. The item will be placed or given to you at your position.

Mine rocks in the world with the pickaxe.

Cut trees with an axe.

Fight monsters with the sword.

Aim with your cursor, swinging the tools around.

Lootboxes are yellow, and generate in structures, they are broken open with the pickaxe.

Saplings take 3 hours to grow.

The death of monsters earns you points.

Hold down 'Shift' while moving to move faster.

Crafting Recipes:

Single Wood Wall: 3 wood

Single Stone Wall: 4 stone

Single Silver Wall: 3 silver bars

Large Wood Wall: 7 wood

Large Stone Wall: 10 stone

Large Silver Wall: 7 silver bars

Sapling: 1 sapling

Silver Bar: 3 silver ore

Walls will wear away after a few days: wood is less durable than stone, which is less durable than silver. Wood is also weaker than stone, which is weaker than silver.
